Spelling Bee

The PTA-sponsored Scripps Spelling Bee is open to all students! Last year there was so much competition that the Bee went on until almost midnight so this year the event begins on January 14, 2026 in the RSES Cafeteria at 6:30 PM and concludes with the final rounds on January 15, 2026. Reflections

Reflections is a National PTA arts program where students showcase their original works through six categories: dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography or visual arts. This year’s theme is “I Belong”. Entries for Rooster Springs were due Friday, November 7th, at 3PM.

Those moving on to the district competition will be notified before Winter break. A celebration for all participants will be held this winter.

Learning Garden

Garden plots are adopted by classes each year. These classes will need parent volunteers to meet them in the garden to help with activities and lessons. There are two volunteer levels with different commitment expectations.
